1. What is Vorras Mailer? Vorras Mailer is an effective E-mail system that allows enterprises to offer browser based email accounts to their users or visitors. Possible uses include setting a Hotmail-type of service, or enabling web access to employees. Vorras Mailer supports IMAP and POP connections and can be also used to consolidate various email accounts into one location.
2. Requirements of Vorras Mailer Vorras Mailer currently works on UNIX platforms only, running Python 2.0 or higher. The second requirement is the ability to create a "catch-all" email account. This is standard on most web hosting accounts. It means that you can setup an email account so that all email any_username@yourdomain.com goes to that account.
3. Which platforms are supported ? Vorras Mailer runs on all flavors of Unix and has been tested on Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, and Irix. Vorras Mailer is a server-side solution for companies or organizations who wish to offer a browser based Email accounts to their websites visitors. Users have full control over the appearance of the template, Email clients, advertising and banner placement, as well as a long list of other services. 5. Can I run multiple domains with Vorras Mailer? Yes, Vorras Mailer supports unlimited number of domain names. 6. How many users can Vorras Mailer support? Vorras Mailer supports an unlimited number of users. 7. Can I limit storage space per user? Yes, the administrator can set and modify this anytime through the administrator web interface. 8. Can I limit attachment size on a per user basis? Yes, users can be prevented from attaching files greater than a certain size chosen by the administrator. 9. Can I run Vorras Mailer on a shared server? Yes. Vorras Mailer does not require a dedicated server and does not require root access to install and run. 10. Can I try Vorras Mailer on my server? Yes, we can build an evaluation version for you. Please contact us here. 11. I run Cpanel that comes with webmail products. Why should I use Vorras Mailer? Vorras Mailer allows the introduction of unlimited accounts that your users can create directly on the web. Other webmail products do not allow user registration.
